A Metropolitan Police Officer has stopped and searched someone white it has emerged.

Constable Tony Hibbert stopped the man when he suspected him of dressing like a brown person.

'I couldn't tell from behind.' he said.

'He was wearing jeans that were a clear foot below his waist and a long t-shirt that came down to his knees. He looked suspiciously like a black kid, sorry, drug dealer. Same difference.'

He continued 'Once I saw he was white I was going to let him go but there were people watching so I gave him a cursory touching up.'

Across the pond a similar mistake has been made. A man dressed in similar clothing to his British compatriot walked past a police officer.

Officer Tony Hubbert said 'I saw the low rider jeans and long t-shirt from behind and fulfilled my duty as an officer of whatever law I claim to be acting on at the time and emptied a 15 round clip into his back.'

'I apologise to his family. But if he will dress like a negro he has to expect to be treated like one.'
