Michael Gove's insistence on using a set of incongruous grammar rules for official letters has been met with universal mockery it has emerged.
With rules such as not using 'impact' as a verb and expanding contractions, it doesn't seem like the humiliation will end soon.
'Oi, grammar nazi? Shove your contractions right up your impact!' bellowed one person.
