After the tragic news that childhood hero and artist extraordinaire Tony Hart has died again, other childhood favourites are to die all over again too.
Clive Dunn, beloved of children as Grandad and Johnny Morris, he of many voices on Animal Magic are to be exhumed and reanimated using the latest biotechnology all so they can die again.
Professor Richard Blackwood of Sutton Coldfield University said 'We are at an age of professional grief so we thought we would use it as an excuse to show off our latest bioengineering products.'
He continued, 'Clive Dunn and Johnny Morris will put on a show at the London Palladium and then die on stage. Not because their performance is bad, they are far too professional for that. No, they will cease to exist all over again.'
A spokesman for all people under 30 said 'Who are Clive Dunn and Johnny Morris?'
