After acquiring the rights to use Spiderman in it's Marvel Cinematic Universe, the studio have released plans for its next 300 films.

Studio president Kevin Fiege said 'This will take us through our phase 3 films all the way through to phase 75 in the year 2217. I may not still be studio president at that point.'

After newly announced Dr. Strange and the Black Panther, new superheroes brought in for their own films include Dustman, Paperboy, The Dinnerlady and The Flange.

But it's Marvel's later films that have created the most excitement and perhaps the suggestion that Marvel are running out of ideas. Films such as Marvel's War & Peace, Agents of Pride and Prejudice and Marvel's A Midsummer Nights Dream are both eagerly awaited and criticised as unoriginal. Kevin Fiege responded with 'Whatever makes us money.'
