The unfolding disaster in Taipei, Taiwan, illustrates that at least 19 people have lost their lives.
Footage of the crash being played on a loop on all 24-hour news channels shows the tragic circumstances in which it happened but new footage has emerged.
The heads of BBC News, ITV News amd Sky issued a joint statement: 'This new footage is in super high def. You can see every single nut and bolt on the plane as it smashes into the bridge. You can even see a woman's panic stricken face in the window as she faces her mortality. It's great!'
They continued 'We feel it is our responsibility to get this footage to the horror thirsty public as soon as possible and play it on a loop. Sky have launched Sky Plane Crash on channel 146 so that the public can get the latest human tragedy at their leisure.'
A member of the general public, Mrs. Joan Smith, was asked what she thought of the joint statement. 'Gits. Utter gits.' she said.
