Connor McWilliam, 29 of Shoreditch died yesterday after a frenzied attack.
Mr. McWilliam, a Media Consultant & Project Developer had been taking a selfie of himself and a friend when a man identified so far only as Geoff rushed them.
The friend of Connor, Adrian Smyles said 'We were celebrating getting the contract to develop a new viral media paradigm from Versace when a man approached us.'
He continued 'Connor had his PolarPro Powerpole Monopod selfie stick when the man snatched it from him and shouted to the heavens 'Why? Why have you done this to us?'
'The man then screamed like a banshee and started hitting Connor repeatedly with the stick yelling 'Cunts, cunts, cunts. I'm surrounded by fucking cunty cunts!' I have no idea why he thinks that. And Connor's blood got in my beard and on my vintage RayBan Clubmasters.'
The Police have so far said that a man called Geoff was in custody. They describe him as a 44 year old office administrator. He is expected to be released later today after suffering from what psychiatrists call a Hipster Induced Dissociative Episode.
