Pictures have emerged of Tom Cruise walking down the street with his dog on a leash.
This apparently normal behaviour has sent Twitter into a tailspin.
Regular tweeter @alanalan said 'Who does he think he is walking his pet like he's all normal. The freak.'
And @focusonfish said 'Is this the latest ploy by Scientologists to make us think they love animals? I saw one strangle a badger.'
The photos show a well behaved and leashed animal at Tom's side. The pet, known as David Beckham, said 'I love these walks. They get me out of the house. Anything for a break from old sour face anyway.'
Cruise is known for his love of pets and also owns a gerbil. Small, irritating and prone to disappear up peoples backsides, Tom Cruise is 52 years old.
