The Conservative Party Manifesto which was released yesterday has been criticised as being big on promises but short on detail.

Asked on Newsnight to justify some of the spending promises, Michael Gove said 'Where the money is coming from isn't important.'

He continued 'We are promising poor people their own homes, tax free minimum wage and a huge cash injection for the NHS.'

'Don't worry about where the money comes from. Just look at the lovely shiny new things we will give you.'

'Look at the shiny, sparkly stuff. Come on. Look it's all shiny and lovely. Mmmmm, lovely vote tory. Nice shiny sparkly things vote tory. Yummy yummy vote tory things. Mmmmmm.'

The manifesto is lacking in any substance though. Vacuous, slippery and without meaningful content, Mr. Gove is 47.
