Hebridean Island Canna has been hit by its first non-incest crime for over 40 years.
The local shop, which operate with an honesty box, was cleared out overnight leaving the island without essential supplies.
'We had to get more sent from the mainland' said Connor McClintock, shop owner.
'My wifemother is really suffering. She has never seen anything like this with her three eyes in all her life.'
Connor is not the only one horrified. The island, with a population of 20 people, one surname and one face, was rocked by the intrusiveness of the crime.
