A leak on a respected Russian business news site that 2000 Russian families were receiving compensation for their relatives dwath from fighting in Ukraine is wholely false the Kremlin said today.
Speaking from a secure room with two FSB agents pointing Makarov pistols at his head, the editor of Business Life (Delovaya Zhizn), Vladislav Inozemtsev, who published the story, said 'We made a mistake.'
'The 2000 people who have died were actually on holiday. Official Russian advice is to not holiday in eastern Ukraine. However the Russian people, living in a democracy, are free to do what they want.'
'And if that means holidaying in eastern Ukraine whilst taking AK-47s, body armour, tanks, artillery and surface to air missile launchers, then that is their prerogative.'
