More shock revelations emerged today about the integrity of Fox News host Bill O'Reilly.
Known for his calm and measured presenting and never resorting to shouting, intimidating and threatening, 'journalist' O'Reilly acknowledged he had not witnessed bombings in Northern Ireland.
'I was shown photographs of the incidents that were very real.' he said.
'In my mind, it felt like I was there.'
O'Reilly is not alone in this of course. It is true that pictures can create strong emotions and vivid feelings. As a journalist I remember seeing a picture of the crucifiction and being convinced I was there.
The famous picture of the good looking man holding the baby? That was me. And I was the tennis ball in the picture of the female tennis player scratching her arse.
