New figures released today by the Green party show that membership has fallen by over a third in the last week.
After the car-crash interview given by Natalie Bennett last week, confidence in the party has tumbled.
Spokeswoman Claire Rimmer elaborated. 'It's been an awful week. Our membership has been culled. We are going to have to reduce, reuse and recycle our current numbers. It really has been a week of slash and burn politics.
She continued 'Our new policy is to make our membership sustainable. We will reduce their carbon footprint by giving them smaller silicon shoes. Mother Nature seems to have sent us to bed early without our ricecakes. Tomorrow we will eat organic humble pie and hope the electorate can find it in their hearts to Vote Green, Get Incoherence.'
After this inteview, Ms. Rimmer was put out to pasture.
