Viewing the Northern Lights from the UK is a completely underwhelming experience it was announced today.
Johanna Magnusdottir, who is Icelandic living in the UK said 'We see the Northern Lights on a virtual weekly basis. They are bright, vivid and dance like a celestial ghost.'
She continued 'But what I saw last night was frankly shit. A bit of a green splodge in a tiny bit of the sky. Utter crap.'
James Golders of the Met. Office was asked for his opinion.
'It is rare to see the Northern Lights in the UK' he said.
'As such we get excited about the slightest appearance. Plus we live in such a grey, depressing, mundane country, anything that distracts from the horror of 80 years spent in this hell hole is a welcome boost.'
'Yes, the lights were shite. But slightly less shite than life here in general.'
