The decision to take a cruise has been described by experts as the first signs of dementia.

Professor Charles Langtree of Felchfield Polytechnic said 'Trying to make a decision is the first thing we give up.'

He continued 'It is far simpler for us when it is obvious we have horrific terminal bafflement to lie back, be served drinks and food and ferried from non-descript port to non-descript port.'

'Of course they are sold as exotic places full of glamour and expectation. But everyone's mind is so fucked by this point the ship just docks at a container port'

'The Captain then anounces over the tannoy that everyone had a wonderful time and saw amazing things then fucks off to the next port down the coast.'

'Then you get a set of 30 pre-printed photos to show your relatives and a few vague stories that they aren't listening to anyway as they are waiting impatiently for the duty free booze you got them.'
