President Barack Obama and President Raul Castro shook hands yesterday.
The historic event happened at a pan american conference on trade.
Speaking of the significance of the finger touching, President Obama said 'This was a unique opportunity for our two countries to heal old wounds.'
He continued 'It was a firm but fair handshake. I had to ask Raul what hand cream he uses as his hands were so soft and luxurious. I didn't want to let go.'
President Castro was equally impressed.
'President Obama has a firm and manly handshake. I asked him why his skin was darker on the outside of his hand'
'An advisor quickly informed me it is because he is black and that asking such a thing is racist, you mad old bastard.'
'That advisor has since been moved on to a new and exciting role permanently inspecting soil 6 feet under the ground.'
