The Mercury Messenger Probe has ended its long mission by crash landing on Mercury.
Speaking before the long descent, the probe was upbeat about its fate.
'For years and years I've been orbiting.' said Messenger.
'Just circling round and round. Taking photos. Constantly. 'What's that? NASA want me to take a photo? Oh and now another? And another?' Soooooo boring.'
He continued 'But now my fuel has ran out so I can't maintain my orbit.'
'I'm going down boys and girls. Woooo hooooo! Yippee-Ki-Yay Motherfuckers!'
