London Black cab drivers are staging a slow down today in protest at taxi apps like Uber and the behaviour of minicab drivers.
Fearing that their overpriced charging structure is being undermined, cabbies will drive slowly for half an hour.
'It's no joke this' said Barry Tennant, a black cab veteran.
'Minicabs are picking people up at the side of the road, that app makes it easier for the public, and asylum seekers and immigrants don't have to take the knowledge'
'Everyone knows 'The Knowledge' is an essential way of turning a 1 mile trip into a 6 mile one. And these apps that show you the shortest and quicket route? Disgusting!'
'Don't they know I've got £70k to make whilst only declaring £10k?'
