Britain has voted the Robin as its national bird it was announced yesterday.
However this has caused some upset amongst ornithologists who say the bird is misunderstood and is not worthy of this elevation.
'The Robin is an extremely aggressive bird' said Dr. Mark Smith.
'It murders its own kind by pecking an opponents backbone until it's dead. It steals eggs from other nests. It calls you names behind your back and then shags your mother.'
