A train driver has been arrested for colliding with a car that blatantly had right of way on the railway track it has been announced.
Nobody was hurt in the incident, but the train driver has been arrested for not steering out of the way of the car.
Rescue worker Brian Dyning said 'This is happening more and more.'
'Car drivers, who are just trying to get from A to B, are driving over level crossings where the barriers are down, or using the railway line as a quiet shortcut and train drivers are recklessly crashing in to them.'
'We are sick of trains failing to steer around the cars or stop quickly enough to avoid an accident. It's arrogant and frustrating.'
But what of the rails? The train is stuck on these rails, has no steering wheel and is extremely heavy and takes time to stop.
'Ha ha, don't be stupid. Rails? They are just a special train road. And what do you mean, they have no steering wheel?'
'Don't be ridiculous.'
