David Cameron, Yvette Cooper, Liz Kendall and Andy Burnham have all had to change their underwear it was revealed today after Jeremy Corbyn gets the backing of over 40 leading economists.

Writing an open letter backing the Labour leadership candidate, the main line of attack levelled at Corbyn has been undermined.

'We don't know what to do' said an unnamed Burnham insider.

'Until now our strategy was react on a daily basis to what is in the papers and have no discernible plan of our own. It has served Labour well since 1997.'

'But these concrete plans that have the backing of people who know what they are talking about and even the IMF has the rest of the candidates spooked.'

'They are taking lessons in how to sound like a normal person and so far Andy is the only one who has failed to cry.'

'Though he did sit in the corner rocking uncontrollably at one point. So we have started to try to remember what independent thought is.'

'We think it may be choosing which jam you want on your toast, but we aren't sure.'

'We're using a focus group to find out.'
