News of Cilla Black's untimely passing at only 72 has rocked the entertainment world it emerged yesterday.
A gaggle of 'celebrities' lined up to remind us that they still existed and had once spent 7 minutes in a taxi with Cilla or had held a door open for her after failing the interview for Blind Date.
Davina McCall paid a beartdelt tibute to the late, great singer and entertainer:
'Remeber me? I once hosted a failed revival of Blind Date. These days I can be found releasing identical fitness DVDs and gurning at any camera that will shoot me.'
'I'm available for openings, including envelopes, and anything that will keep me in dumb bells and plastic surgery.'
'What? Oh Cilla? Er, yes, legend etc. I'm availablr for panto too.'
