Whilst the world is busy with Isis, Iran and the European migrant crisis, Vladimir Putin has been accused of taking advantage by pushing the South Ossetian border further into Georgia.

A 1.5km land grab occurred overnight and Putin says he is not responsible but it is the entirely independent and in no way Russian backed 'government' of South Ossetia.

'This is not our doing' said Putin in his weekly press conference.

'I have been assured by the South Ossetian Government this was an accideng when all the border guards fell over simultaneously and when they stood up they had fallen 1.5km. They hadn't realised.'

'And now they are there, well, that's far too far to walk back. No human is capable of covering such vast distances. They'll just have to stay and acidentally drop some concrete barriers.'

'People are so clumsy these days. Next they'll be just looking at airliners and they will dropnout of the sky.'
