A world record breaking free diver has died in her latest attempt to hold her breath for considerably longer than necessary.
Natalia Molchanova, 53 of Russia, holds multiple world records in this alledged sport.
'It's a real tragedy.' said sport officiando Greg Gunder.
'She has achieved so much in a field where you can do so much more with an aqualung and facemask. Her achievements are in no way utterly futile and pointless.'
'She leaves behind children and granddchildren who I'm sure are only too happy that she died doing something she loved more than them.'
'More and more we see people taking idiotic risks with their lives and causing pain and upset. There is no world left to conquer. None left to explore. Want to go deep into the ocean? Use an aqualung.'
'Better yet, a submarine. Better yet, read a fucking book about it.'
