The number of tattoos a person has about their body increases the less that person has to say about world events it has emerged.
Often used as a form of 'expression', tattoo fans are becoming increasingly reclusive.
'I have 24 tattoos amd have no opinion on anything' said call centre worker Ash Kennedy.
'Before having any, I used to be involved in local and national politics, engaged in local community events and fought for justice for the common man.'
'Now I express myself by having my skin irreversibly marked with chinese symbols, misquoted Shakespeare sonnets and badly drawn pictures of Michael Keaton as Batman.'

Ash's lifelong friend Greg said of his friend's change 'He enjoys communicating through the medium of body desecration. He hasn't got a fucking thought in his head anymore. I have no idea why I hang around with the bellend.'
