Roger Moore, former James Bond and Conservative party supporter, has revealed his wigs are made from cotton from Alabama.
Discussing his uniquely full head of mid brown hair, he said no wigs had come close for quality and lustre.
'It's the sheen you see' he said. 'No other material quite comes close.'
'I tried English cotton made in Brixton but it wasn't the same. I need some made by indentured black people. It was slavey, but not slavey-slavey if you get me.'
'Nothing says quality quite like a wig that was made on the backs of the imprisonment and death of many people. Mmmm, negro cotton!'
