Wiz Khalifa, who has hit the top of the UK charts for the second time, is having his name memorised by everyone over 30 in a desperate attempt to stay in touch with modern music.
Mike Stain, 36 of Coventry said 'I saw the top 5 and realised I didn't know any of the bands.'
He continued 'My knowledge seems to have stopped around 2002 yet I thought I was still hip. Is it still hip to say hip? I have no idea! Please help me.'
We recognised this phenomenon amongst the over 30s and performed a survey on the band names in the top 5 of the singles chart. This was the most common response to each
1. Wiz Khalifa: 'I took some of that in the 90s'
2. Omi: 'A genital wart cream'
3. Jess Glynne: 'Oh, erm, is it that one from Hollyoaks?!?'
4. Dr. Kucho: 'Nazi war criminal'
5. Years & Years: 'How long it's been since I had a single fucking clue about anything 'trendy' or 'happening'. Oh just put a fucking bullet in my head!'
We showed these results to a group of 17-19 year olds who just laughed hard and said 'You is jarring me. And look at dat face. Butters!'
We had no idea what they said. So we beat the shit out of them and took their phones, money and 20/20.
