Dan Snow, who never misses an opportunity to recall something he memorised earlier that day even when people aren't interested, has managed to complete a coherent thought of his own.
The historian, who delights in showing off how he can read from an autocue and uttering the first historical fact that comes to mind irrespective of relevance, was able to demonstrate the ability to consider a future outcome.
'I usually deal in what has come before' said Snow.
'Being a historian requires no complex or problem solving thought. Just regurgitation of facts.'
'Let's be honest, anyone can do that. Look at David Starkey and Simon Schama. They are almost as thick as me.'
'But today I realised that if I drink water, at some point wee wee comes out. I think they may be linked.'
