As Greece approaches the final days of its Euro membership, the government has been searching for an alternative currency.
With the printing presses already operating at full capacity on leaflets encouraging the populace to give at least 1 percent of their income in taxes, printing money is not possible.
'We were genuinely worried for a moment' said Greek finance minister Yanis Varoufakis.
'Like you, we abandoned the gold standard years ago. But we have huge moussaka resources so we are adopting that as our standard.'
'See that swimming pool behind you? Full of moussaka. And that childrens toy? Overcooked moussaka.'
'My apologies, I have forgotten my manners. A drink?'
