Harry Clarke, the 58 year old bin lorry driver whose out of control vehicle caused the deaths of 6 people has failed to answer any questions about his health in the inquiry into the incident it has emerged.

Asked whether he suffered from blackouts, Mr. Clarke remained oddly silent and motionless.

'My client can't answer that question on account of blacking out.' said solicitor Giles Penright.

'When he regains consciousness I'm sure he will gladly answer any questions you may have.'

'But he's just having a snooze for now. He does that sometimes. Whenever his body needs it be it in bed, out shopping, or behind the wheel of a huge 7 tonne killing machine.'

'It's a very efficient way of recharging your batteries. And perhaps heavy machinery usage should be avoided. But until now he'd killed nobody so why would you bother?!?'
