As more luxury cars are being stolen despite alledged impregnable security systems, keyless car entry is under review.

Cloning of the key and it's codes, once thought impossible, now appears to be straightforward. Car companies are scrambling for an alternative.

'I did have an idea that was more, well, analogue than digital' said Geoff Monkton, head of product security at BMW.

'It was ignored for some time bit it must be a winner. You grind a piece of metal into a bumpy shape. Your door has a hole with corresponding bumpy shape that allows you access.'

'I call it a 'Key'. It's like what cars used to have. Before we became so fucking lazy we couldn't be arsed to put some metal in a hole and turn it.'
